Lower School
The nurturing environment at Cohen Hillel Academy provides the foundation for continued social, emotional, academic and spiritual growth in a child-centered Lower School. As members of the CHA community the concept of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world, is evident in both general and Jewish studies.
In grades K-2, critical thinking, curiosity and creativity are fostered in all areas of the curriculum as students begin their academic journeys to becoming accomplished readers, writers, scientists, historians and mathematicians.
In grades 3-5, students build on the concepts explored in their early years at CHA as they examine more complex ideas. They develop strong study skills and strategies, as they become more independent learners.
