Hamishpacha

Hamishpacha, which means “the family,” is our school’s parent organization.
Through its numerous volunteers. Hamishpacha provides support for school programs and learning events for parents throughout the year. Every parent is invited to volunteer with the organization; your participation not only helps the school and all of our children, but it also builds additional bonds across our parent community. Barbara Tanger and Diane Knopf are staff contacts for Hamishpacha.
Another function of Hamishpacha is recruiting and supporting Room Parents, who help communicate important information to others in the class (e.g. requests for field trip chaperones, volunteers for classroom projects, etc.).
A list of room parents for the school year is listed the website on each class page.
Your participation in Hamishpacha not only helps the school and your children,
but also helps you be an integral part of the Hillel Family.
All parents are invited to the first Hamishpacha meeting on October 18 to learn more about the exciting events planned for this school year.
